Psychoanalysts

David Pressault

Biography

A native of Montreal, David Pressault first developed a relationship with the unconscious through his career as a contemporary dance artist. For more than twenty years, he worked as a professional dancer and choreographer and continues to create in parallel with his work as an analyst. The titles of his works such as Tantalum, Iphigenia, Three Graces, Puella falling and Inner Body reflect the importance of the symbolic world and Jungian psychology in his artistic work.

David retired from the stage as a dancer in 2005 to pursue a Master's degree in dance at the Université du Québec à Montréal. In 2006, he began training in analytical psychology at the Ontario Association of Jungian Analysts, which he will complete in January 2012.

He is a member of the International Association of Analytical Psychology, the Ontario Association of Jungian Analysts, the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and Jungian Online.

David works in French and English as a Jungian analyst in private practice.
