Tom Kelly, M. S. W.

Biography

Tom Kelly received a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Toronto in 1976. After working in a clinical setting in Toronto, he worked as the coordinator of an exchange program in Senegal under the auspices of Canada World Youth. Tom Kelly studied at the C. G. Jung Institute in Zurich where he completed his training as Jungian analyst in 1986. He has been in private practice in Montreal since that time. He is currently the President of the Inter-Regional Society of Jungian Analysts, a Jungian training institute primarily in the United States. In addition, he is on the editorial board of the New York Jung Institute "Journal of Jungian Theory and Practice".

Tom Kelly has a particular interest in psychic development and the relationship of consciousness and the unconscious. He enjoys fostering understanding of the symbolic through the study of dreams, fairy tales, myth, art, opera and film.
